Voicemail – Groups
Voicemail groups are system extensions used to group multiple voicemail boxes. Any messages left to a voicemail group will then be replicated and sent to the mailboxes inside that group.
For example, A voice message is left to the group (501, for example) all destinations that belong to that voicemail group will receive the same voice message in their personal mailboxes.
TIP: An extension can have multiple MWI locations without the need for a group (setup in the advanced options under “Voicemail”, groups have a separate functionality of replicating the message in each of the mailbox locations.
